We require experienced drainlayers to work on a wide variety of residential and commercial drainage, earthworks and civil work, new housing and developments.

Your tasks will include but not limited to;

  •  Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of systems and materials required.
  • Installing below-ground drainage systems and associated ground support systems.
  •  Maintain below-ground drainage systems and associated sewerage or effluent disposal systems
  • Assisting with assembling and installing piping valves and fittings.
  • Cleaning and carrying out repairs on stormwater drains and canals, and checking for cracks and leaks in sewerage systems

Ideally, you will have:

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience and/or Trade Qualification
  • Class 1 license
  • PGDB registration or licensed – May be required
  • At least contactable 2 work references
  • 100% commitment to Health and Safety
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • WTR Endorsements – Preferred but not essential

FITTER / WELDERS (STRUCTURAL, STAINLESS STEEL & PIPE)

Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Trades person with 3+ yrs experience

Location: North Island and South Island

Key Skills:

  • Weld, manipulate and fit metal parts to equipment and machinery.

  • Proficient in using MIG and TIG welders including safety procedures

  • Use cutting and shaping tools

MIG WELDER

Description: Current welding certifications (Recently expired certifications may be acceptable contingent upon the ability to successfully requalify prior to employment.) Must either have a welder qualification and/or a minimum of 4 years’ experience as a welder.

Overview:

  • Expertly welds small, medium, and large bore pipe of various metals and alloys.

  • Solders and brazes of copper pipe.

  • Performs complex mechanical installations per engineering direction.

  • Reads and comprehends construction drawings and specifications.

  • Lays out and installs piping, equipment, and other mechanical systems in compliance with construction drawings and specifications.

  • Marks up construction drawings and specifications with as-built status.

  • Works with Thermal Systems Engineers and Site Construction Manager to order tools, equipment, supplies, and materials necessary for the group’s job requirements following company policy and process.

  • Works in conjunction with other crews and lead persons.

  • Maintains responsibility for all tools and equipment assigned to the group.
